This is the second time I have bought this product and it keeps my purple hair bright and shiny much longer than I use regular shampoo and conditioner for use dyed hair. I almost died paying twenty bucks for a hair product but this one is SO WORTH IT! It smells so good and makes my hair so soft! YES, it gives purple color to your hair and hands if you don't wash them. I wear gloves and recommend if you can handle them, you will want to. NO, this is not a treatment for blonde hair to get rid of yellowness or yellowing. YES, I have tried both wet and dry application. I use the dry method most often as it works best for adding more pigment so your purple lasts longer between tints. I only started using this product after my hair was already dyed purple. If you want to add color to your hair and it hasn't already been dyed purple, you will probably need to lighten your hair to a platinum blonde for the best results. That doesn't mean it won't work, but the lighter the better. Experiment with color! If you have purple hair, it comes in other shades, so why not buy blue or red and make your hair darker or purple? Have fun coloring your hair. No color errors, just color trials. We all made it! I painted the final horror piece in 5th Element carrot orange, expecting a reddish color. I wore it anyway and said it was done on purpose. Don't ruin your hair with all those chemicals, honey, it will grow back! Only 6 weeks until the next color "experiment"! Until then, use this product to enhance your color. I wish I had it when my hair wasn't the color I was expecting!
