Review on Recessed ESD Dimmable Downlight for Effective Lighting by Carlos Burrows

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Made a huge difference

They were a lot easier to install than others I've used. I like connectors that don't require wire nuts. I did all the work myself using a 10 foot piece of 1/2" PVC pipe. Cut (I used a 4.25" hole saw) holes, then take a Romex and line them about 2" into the end of the pipe. Pipe, insert the pipe into the first hole and stretch to the next hole, grab the pipe or wire through the second hole, lower into the space and cut off do the rest the same way i removed the old panel ceiling and connected it to this box then i replaced the old switch with a dimmer good quality i have a lot of blown insulation in my attic and these boxes are safe to use. They are much brighter than the old ceiling lights.and use less electricity.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Price piggy bank
