KEEP OVER, DANGER - two tries, two smokers

This MPPT controller is downright dangerous. I already had two of these, both smoked and burned out after a few days of surgery. I have a decent solar panel but not huge. I have a solid battery. Each part of my array is powered by its own MPPT controller and has its own pure sine wave inverter. This MPPT controller was connected to a 1100 watt solar array at 72 volts. This is 35+ volts and 200 watts below the maximum allowed for the device. The controller is powered by two SLA 100Ah, 12V batteries that are 6 months old. The batteries then power a 2500W pure sine wave inverter. The actual power draw of the inverter never exceeds 700W. Oh, and I'm a retired Master Electrician and Controls Specialist. The first OOYCYOO controller lasted less than 5 days. Luckily I was in the basement when I smelled smoke and shut down the system. I checked the box but not fully. I suppose the problem could be anything. The block was quickly replaced. I installed the replacement block and everything looked fine. He was far from the limit of his abilities. This time the plug-in worked for a little over two weeks. I was up when the solar system fire alarm went off. I ran downstairs and the device was smoking like crazy. Once again I turned everything off and pulled out the block. I'm sorry but there is an error that I can understand. 0 to 2? Same problem? No, there is something wrong with these systems. Oh and I have 3 other systems using other MPPT controllers and they have been running for months with no problems. Give me my money back and I'll go back to my Victrons and Rich Solar MPPT controllers. Don't burn my house down to save a few bucks. I wish I had even tried a 100 amp OOYCYOO device.
