Skinning and construction defects or cheap material

Well, I use encaustic brushes. The brush sheds horribly and the large handle of the brush was hollow so when I used hot wax with the brush the wax dripped into the brush and came out the other end where my hand was and burned my hand. So don't do it. Use with encaustic wax and be careful of paint or ink dripping off the bristles and through the pins into your hand. Also, the brush sheds a lot!
