Disappointed with this brush

I've been using this brush for a while, the first time it works well, but then every time a hair or two falls out and the hair no longer sticks together ...

most are fine

Some people lose their hair the first time they get wet. I still use them. Some things are easier to do with just a few hairs on the brush. The rest is OK. I tend to kill my brushes because I use them on ceramic and they wear out quickly. So for cheap brushes they are ok.

Sum-ie brush

Bought for sumi-e painting - the bristles are normal but as I have an Asian brush holder this set doesn't have loops on the back end so I had to glue the loops onto it - I took 5 minutes to add them and it takes 3 minutes to paint stripes around the top of the brush and around the top of the bristles of the brush. All in all this is a good set.

Skinning and construction defects or cheap material

Well, I use encaustic brushes. The brush sheds horribly and the large handle of the brush was hollow so when I used hot wax with the brush the wax dripped into the brush and came out the other end where my hand was and burned my hand. So don't do it. Use with encaustic wax and be careful of paint or ink dripping off the bristles and through the pins into your hand. Also, the brush sheds a lot!
