Review on πŸ”§ MotorGuide Shock Absorbing Mounting Isolator Kit - Protect Electronics with Corrosion-Resistant Bolts - Set of 4 by Rick Turner

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Easy and very safe on the boat deck!

I took two packs because I was able to deliver six instead of four. They were very easy to install. I have a pontoon that prevents easy access to the bottom of the enclosed deck. Installed correctly, they hold up much better than you may have seen from other reviews. I just don't trust them. I tripped over about four sandbars trying to steer my big fishing pontoon into the narrow "honey hole" and those anchorages didn't even flinch. The trolling motor worked fine and now I have all the evidence that these things are doing their job perfectly. If you can close six, that's certainly better than four, but even four is incredibly safe. Saved me a lot of extra work getting the boat out of the lake and drilling out all the rivets to take the bottom sheet metal cover off. I think for pontoons. Because there is a solid wooden deck to hold on to. These things are incredible.
