Much better than the gooseneck mount. Other reviews complain that the cable was spliced where the bracket attaches to the light, but I've had no such issues. Just keep everything lightly tightened with your fingers and pay attention to where the cord is when you tighten it so you don't pinch anything. Overall, I like the look of the binding and would definitely prefer it to the gooseneck version.
