Decent quality, a bit overpriced. I installed it on a 20 gallon nano about 4 inches from the wall. The light cannot be centered over the tank when the shot hits the wall. So I had to put a light on the side of the tank, which is unsightly.

Has everything you need but when using it on a smaller (nano or pico) tank. Think of a flexible mount and a fixed mount. Also think about the distance between the tank and the wall. If you need to adjust it, you need the distance between the wall and the tank. In general everything is fine, I like it.

Too big for a small tank. I need to cut off the backing or move my tank away from the wall to center the light. Now I turned it back to focus the light. It's durable and feels like it should last forever. I would imagine having a small or large option would be better, but that's fine

I prefer this to a flexible arm. I have both, this one takes a tool and time to set up but it just looks so much better. If you have a wall directly behind your tank, buy a flexible arm. This is because adjusting the light requires moving the mount slider back. If a wall gets in the way, your lantern will get stuck in the front of the tank.

Much better than the gooseneck mount. Other reviews complain that the cable was spliced where the bracket attaches to the light, but I've had no such issues. Just keep everything lightly tightened with your fingers and pay attention to where the cord is when you tighten it so you don't pinch anything. Overall, I like the look of the binding and would definitely prefer it to the gooseneck version.

I had several lights but nothing that expensive. I bit the bullet for really serious plant growth. I was not disappointed. Plants grow great with my C02 setup. I love the app that allows you to set up your daily routine. (I usually hate electronics and apps, but in this case it really worked.) I liked it so much I bought another one for a different tank about a week later. Outstanding light.

The key to this product is NOT to over-tighten the screws on the ball joint. I tightened just enough to hold the light in place. I don't experience any sagging or anything like that with the light. I love the modern, sleek look it gives my tank. And it seems that the lantern is built into the tank itself. I have not noticed any disadvantages in this mount for the tank. The arm has a ball joint so the lantern can be moved freely. Great if you want to clean a lantern, for example. Unfortunately, its position is such that if you rotate the light more than 1/8th of a turn, the sharp edge of the bracket will cut into the cable. With the other side up, the cord fits nicely into the slot, but the slot is so small that you can't adjust the light much without squeezing the cord into the sharper metal edges.
