Review on 💡 Siemens ECSBPK03 Standby Power Mechanical Interlock for Generators by Keyone Brownlee

The metal used on this lock is a bit flimsy and flimsy and I don't believe this item was actually made by or for Siemens. it simply fits on the Siemens load center. Unlike my signature Eaton lock for another house, this is a thick plate of powder-coated steel. Regardless, he's doing his job. A few installation notes: (1) The load center cover does NOT need to be cut - move the main and generator breaker locking slides to the off position and the cover will slide off immediately; (2) The switches in the upper right positions 2 and 4 CAN be left in place and fully functional if approximately 3mm of material is trimmed from the lower right edge of the locking plate. Essentially cut on the rivets that attach the circuit breaker clip to the latch plate. A metal cutting wheel on a grinder easily cuts it off.
