These things are like socks, they mysteriously disappear in the wash over time. At the same time, my wife complained several times that she kept washing them since some of them disappeared. She really doesn't wear disposables because they don't seem that soft to her and she has sensitive skin. She noted that they are larger than any others she's tried but still fit perfectly in her bra. It is a towel-like material, very absorbent yet very soft. She said they were softer than others she's had and felt like a towel too. She loves that not only do they come with a holdall for a diaper bag or your purse, but they also come with a laundry bag to keep them together and safe in the wash to avoid new waste. She is very impressed with the set and thinks it would make a great birthday present for a nursing mother.
