I've been hearing a lot about the watermelon slicer on TV lately. It looked so simple and easy to use. One scoop makes the perfect slice of watermelon. I decided to try this gadget. The watermelon slice is made of stainless steel. It is corrosion resistant and dishwasher safe. It's not a very sharp device, so it's safe for everyone to use. The slicer arrived just in time for my July 4th party. My opinion on this product is as follows. This gadget seems like a great concept, it technically works and is fully functional. I just don't care about this product. It was very difficult for me to maneuver in half a watermelon. Didn't get a nice, clean, perfect slice to take off the watermelon. My plays were more like plays. I personally felt it lasted twice as long to use. I'd rather just use a regular knife to slice the watermelon. For me, this gadget was not a favorite and it was not convenient for me to use it.
