First off, I am not a person that likes flip-flops or sandals. I don't really like the way my feet look and I've always been more comfortable in sneakers. But on a recent trip I went kayaking for the first time and really liked it, so I figured I'd better find something I can wear in the water. I had a pair of aqua shoes a long time ago and didn't like them because sand would always get trapped inside them and I'd spend half my time taking them off and cleaning them out. So I decided to see what kind of sandal I could find. I looked at all the more expensive sandals and they all seemed great, but I didn't want to jump right into them. So these ATIKA sandals looked pretty good, and being a third of the price was nice too, so I decided to give them a try. I ordered my normal shoe size and it fit very well, little loose in the back but I can adjust that strap to make it more snug if I need it. I've been wearing them a lot now since it's summer and I gotta say, this is my new go-to shoe for warm weather. It's easy to take on & off and pretty comfortable. I haven't been kayaking yet, but they seem pretty stable and I can't wait to try them out there! Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase and would recommend these sandals for anyone looking for a less expensive option to try and see if they like them.
