Review on Dell U3219Q 32-Inch LED Lit Monitor - High Dynamic Range, 60Hz Refresh Rate by James Ligon

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Oh my god, what a difference in coding!

While working from home I lost 3 HD monitors in the office. I couldn't replicate this setup at home due to space and cost constraints. So I decided to go with a 4K monitor and oh my god! On a single HD monitor, most of the time and concentration was wasted switching windows, scrolling, going to full screen and back, and so on. A 32-inch 4K monitor is essentially a quad-core monitor. Setting (with good eyesight). I now have an IDE (vscode) on the left, a web browser/email on the top right, and a terminal on the bottom right. Stop looking for things that can be minimized. All on screen at once, each with the same amount of content in full screen, individually on an FHD monitor? This monitor saved my sanity. Love it. A must for software developers or anyone who needs to have multiple windows open at the same time. If you have a visual impairment, you might want to consider the 43-inch version of this monitor so you don't have to scale the fonts and reduce the content you can adjust. But I think you need a strong neck. Advantages: 1. Clear display2. Unbent 3. No speakers 4. Thin panel5. Not shiny 6. Multiple ports (all latest. DP 1.4, HDMI 2.0): The main reason for choosing this monitor over other monitors.7. KVM Capabilities: Has USB-C and Type-B upstream ports, allowing you to connect 2 computers at the same time. Cons: 1. I wish it had joystick controls like the LGP.S.: It came in double box, not the Dell box as is. Looks like Revain took feedback from previous reviews into account.
