This kit will work, but there are a few things I think you should be aware of. Firstly, as mentioned in other reviews, the hooked blade is difficult to use as the handle is very weak. It took me a bit of fiddling to find a blade/handle that suited me. It's much better to buy a blade with a utility knife hook. Second, the tape backing is very stiff on one side and split down the middle. My first attempt was removed and discarded because I didn't work hard enough to make sure there wasn't a crease in the band where the break was. After figuring out what to do the tape worked fine and in fact I was quite happy with how it worked but I had to keep the pressure on and smooth it out while slowly wrapping the tape around the shaft of the racquet. Third, I highly recommend watching some videos on YouTube about wiretapping and not just relying on the kit instructions. I picked up a few useful tips. Finally, I'm not sure there's enough thinner to make 15 clubs (I've only made 3 so far), so you may need mineral spirits to complete the entire set of clubs. The racket clamp worked great. All in all, it was nice to have everything you need to get the job done in one package, even if it's not perfect.
