Great product, suitable for golf

Playing the club for the first time and this product works great. The blade is very sharp on the cutter and very easy to use. I used some extra thinner on the handles and sprayed it on the paper (about 5 sprays) and the handles came off very easily. Just keep strong pressure as you push and don't stop. I don't have a vise and you don't need one. I would highly recommend this to anyone. I did 9 holds in about an hour and it was my first time again.

Don't buy this! The best accessories

I wish I could tell you how this product works, but I can't because I haven't used it. I opened the packaging to find the solvent was unsealed and the bottle had been opened somewhere during shipping. The entire contents were soaked in solvent, a strip of duct tape fused into a large lump of sticky oily slurry. The rubber vise looks broken in half and I'm sure the cutter is having problems too. If I could give zero stars I would. I will send it back immediately. Don't even think about buying…

Complete Kit - more than enough for 13 racquets

This great kit contains a lot of accessories for working with 13 racquets or more. I especially like the rubber clip that fits in any standard vise to hold the stick while you work on it. The solvent worked great. My formula was to do 4 to 5 sprays per band after applying it to the shaft and then 10 sprays per grip. Cover the ends of the pencil and shake to coat. Drain the excess from the inside of the handle onto the tape, then quickly stick - put on right away. Don't worry that the handle…

This set makes it easy.

This set has just about everything you need to make catching your clubs easier. The hooked cutting blade makes it easy to cut old handles from both steel rod and graphite clubs. The blade also comes in handy when removing old tape. The kit contains 15 adhesive tapes. A NOTICE. Be sure to wet the grip tape well and tighten the grips quickly. You have enough activator to apply liberally to the handle. Don't forget to hold on to the table to keep your racquet steady. The griptape is enough for a…

First Clubwrap

I have been playing golf for 37 years and this is the first time I have attempted to rewrap my clubs. The Saplize kit was fully functional with clear instructions. The included hook cutting tool worked great. There were also videos from Saplize showing everything from start to finish. I was always afraid of damaging my graphite rods or ruining my racquets, but this time I told myself that if I had to, I would buy new racquets. Anyway, the first one went pretty smoothly. Second, I forgot to pour

Serious? For Sports

For the price you can't go wrong if you don't mind cleaning up the mess after you've received the product. The product was completely soaked in Grip Solvent when I opened the package. The only thing that saved a few stars in this test is that the griptape was isolated in a different plastic sleeve and is therefore saved. Curiously, the capture solvent canister was perfectly sealed - the foil is intact and the canister has no cracks - so I don't know why I encountered such a mess when I opened…

Nice set but you get what you pay for...

I bought this set to delve into the world of golf grips so I wouldn't have to pay someone else for it. So far I've been very satisfied. Here's a breakdown of what's included in the set: The hook knife is what you'd expect from a cheap set, it's not very durable and is made of flimsy plastic. The hook blade goes in and out of the plastic handle like most other box openers. The knife might seem like the worst piece of kit, but so far it has cut through the rider's handle and two stick handles…

But does the job. - Accessories

This kit will work, but there are a few things I think you should be aware of. Firstly, as mentioned in other reviews, the hooked blade is difficult to use as the handle is very weak. It took me a bit of fiddling to find a blade/handle that suited me. It's much better to buy a blade with a utility knife hook. Second, the tape backing is very stiff on one side and split down the middle. My first attempt was removed and discarded because I didn't work hard enough to make sure there wasn't a…
