Radio can be powered by sun or crank to charge internal battery. Near the socket, the battery can be charged via the cable, but there is also a place for AAA batteries. The power supply can be switched to an internal battery or exchangeable batteries. Finally, the internal battery can be used to charge other devices, but it is not intended as a rechargeable battery, only for backup power.
