Review on ๐Ÿพ Paws 'n' Claws Tangle-Free Dog Tether: Secure Vehicle Restraint for Dogs - Attaches to Headrest or Baby Car Seat Brackets - Adjustable K9 Lead for Sedan Backseat by Tony Wylie

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Fits most vehicles with notched headrests.

This cable has worked for me on the following cars: 2014 Honda CRV, 2019 Honda HRV, 2016 Chevy Colorado, forgot year, but it also works on Honda Civic. The only thing that all cars have in common is that the headrests are adjustable. The strap will not work with seat mounted non-adjustable headrests as the strap must be tightened around the tabs on the adjustable headrest. Do not attempt to wrap the strap around both tabs of each headrest as the straps are not long enough. Wrap the straps only around the inside of each headrest. I've done this with all these cars and it works great! I have a 60 lb Siberian Husky and she keeps trying to jump in the front seat. I always keep the cord as short as possible and this gives her a free range of motion so that she can sit, lie, sit or stick her face out the window without her torso sticking out of the window. Get this rope, you won't regret it! Also, NEVER attach it to a collar! Always use it on a padded harness because you don't want your dog to choke (collar) or have the harness dig into him (non-padded harness) if you ever need to step on the brakes.

Pros
  • The harness is adjustable from 20" to 36" so you can adjust it to the perfect length that allows your pet to move around but prevents them from jumping onto the center console and side panels.
Cons
  • Some little things
