Worked fine for me. However, I don't have a Dyson.
I was able to attach this wand to a standard vacuum by wrapping a tie around the hose. Can't tell if it pulled water out of the grooves, but after cleaning it and using a stick my record sounded a lot better. One thing to keep in mind when using a turntable bar to secure the wand. It can be sucked into a vacuum. My spindle fits freely in the center hole. Other players may differ in this regard. This product appears to be well made. I am happy with my purchase.
