Works with Android OTG

Failed to load media. I'm a part-time DJ and I'm fed up with the lack of USB ports. I thought it was just what the doctor ordered. Works fine for my needs, but there are a few options. 1) YES, works with Android OTG. I've seen the seller's response that it isn't, but I'll say it is. Using an OTG adapter I was able to connect 2 USB sticks and an SD card (more on that next) with full portability between the 3 devices and my phone. Great feature. 2) Only one SD card slot, micro or full, can be used at a time. I've had conflicting results when inserting two cards at the same time, so it's best to use one at a time. 3) The Full SD slot is very shallow. While the microSD is well inserted, the regular SD is hardly inserted at all. It would be much better if he was further inside. It almost feels like the connection is weak. There seems to be enough space so I don't know why it was overlooked. 4) The case is solid and stylish, but the cable is stiff and seems to be a potential source of trouble when connected to the motherboard. A video is included to show the rotation it allows. Might break it open to see what can be done to strengthen it - maybe the board is just spinning inside, maybe a loose solder joint. I would have preferred a braided shield on the cable to keep the flexibility in any case. A slightly longer cable could also be good. 5) Marking which side is up would help align the SD card. Also, I'm not sure why there aren't any slots on the opposite side of the device. I could definitely use 2 more USB slots. Possibly a size limit. 6) All USB 2.0 ports. Even a single 3.0 slot would be very useful in pass-through form. And finally 7) It does an excellent job of converting USB to HDMI. Zero problems with that. It doesn't transmit audio, but this is well documented. Would be nice, but not necessary for my use case. Overall, this is a good block, but not without features. I would give it 3 stars just looking at USB/SD functionality and 4.5 just for HDMI. Average rating 4 stars. USB 3.0 would be 4.5, USB 3.0 and both SD with mesh cable would be 5+.
