Plug doesn't fit?

fits 2007 rav4 perfectly EXCEPT the plug. This connector has 2 pins, the OEM has 3 pins. Not sure why so many other rav4 owners are saying it just fits. Why is mine different? This is definitely NOT a straight fit. If I can't fix it, I have to send it back.
