I wasn't expecting much when I bought my first one over 3 years ago. Since then it has been used constantly with various loads. Not a single problem. It ran cool when powering my 100-watt Kenwood radio and other gear, and the fan only came on once or twice (I didn't find it too loud like the others). It was so reliable that I recently bought another to replace my original if it ever failed. The V-Out adjustment works well and offers easy and smooth adjustment. The DC output is as smooth as any other switching power supply I've tested on my oscilloscope. I 3D printed a front panel cover that has a computer power cord connector (for connecting to AC power with a regular computer power cord), Anderson Powerpole mounts, and a V-Out display. I'm planning to put a potentiometer on it and reconnect it to the board to replace the small variable resistor on the board (which isn't really meant for frequent use). It's awesome the way it is and really awesome with some mods for those who are inclined. Reliable performance, low cost and good design. I'm glad I have 2. Might buy more.
