There is a version of this line of shoes with a Bluetooth chip that records your run. It looks like it is NOT. I couldn't find any information on what was in the box other than a detail or two or on this Revain page to explain why or what comes with this shoe. After some research I had to make some assumptions that the rest of the specs are the same. +8mm drop I usually use 0mm drop shoes or 4mm drop road shoes so I could see the difference. But if you like it a little more autumnal, you will appreciate this model. + Neutral shoes. They had good midfoot cushioning and stability, making them a neutral shoe that should meet most people's needs. + I usually wear size 9 shoes and size 9.5 sneakers. I would have ordered half a size up for running, so in the meantime I've been using shoe stretchers and have been able to walk in them just fine. + Adapts well to the foot with a glove-like upper. running, and this shoe has remained in good condition. My only suggestion for improvement would be to put an extra layer on top of the toes so the toes don't break through the top mesh before the runner has run a few miles in it. I wish more manufacturers would take this into account. My Merrill shoes are great for this added feature alone. > Those are pretty high end shoes. This means that on a low profile shoe you may see part of the implied toe, but on a high profile shoe you should not be able to see the toe which is not visible. This also means that most of the shoe fits around your foot and ankle. > Low-profile athletic shoes can weigh anywhere from 7 to 9 ounces each. The extra weight is expected from the extra profile and extra cushioning/stability. I've had GREAT running shoes that cost between $60 and $70. At the time of writing this article, they cost $110. I don't know if I see additional shoes here for $40-$50. Too expensive for my taste. GENERAL: For most runners, especially non-technical runners, this should cover the need as they are right in the middle of the road between performance (low profile and less cushioning) and neutral shoes with maximum cushioning.
