This is a leash. It is made of leather and well made. My 95 pound yellow lab requires an industrial strength leash. In the last 2 years it has stretched and then snapped. Every leash I own I have bought! Nylon, forget it, he'll rip cheap nylon lines like they're made of yarn. Leather, albeit not high quality leather, these leashes fall apart like a cheap suit. it looks like it's protected from moose!
