I bought these bulbs for my garden wedding last summer and they were just perfect. We've kept them carefully in their original packaging (we even kept the individual bubble wrap for each bulb). This summer we hung them along our vinyl fence around our garden. (I attached a plastic coated wire from pin to pin, attached small clips to each bulb and secured them to the wire. A lot of work, but I wanted them to be easy to remove when it gets cold). And I like the way it looks. But last week it got quite warm (in the 90's for 3 days) and I found that 3 glass flasks had come loose from their metal base. The base was still in the socket, but the glass bulb lay unbroken on the grass. Actually, I had no intention of turning off the lights for the rest of the summer. Is there an outside temperature limit for these lamps? It's like the "glue" in the socket isn't sticking to the lens.
