lots of noise - all the time

Allows you to use power and 3.5mm audio jack at the same time (little wonder you can charge your phone and listen to music at the same time? Apple regardless). Constant hiss and hiss when listening to anything with this built in device. power connected or not. Since it came with two modules, I was able to try another module as well. Unfortunately both do the same thing. This does not happen with other adapters. Not recommended unless you are very tolerant of line noise.
