Very good option for the mobile phone when taking videos or photos. The material is plastic, not aluminum, so keep that in mind. It's not as strong as aluminum but much lighter. It features multiple hot shoe slots and multiple 1/4" holes for mounting any number or combination of accessories and mounts such as lights and microphones. The phone holder extends far enough for my Nexus 6 (which has a large 6 inch display) and probably even something larger like a photo monitor in the 6 to 7 inch range. Very comfortable to hold and should make steady shooting as well as smooth panning and sweeping hand shots a breeze. The only downside I would like to highlight is the choice of plastic build material. Here you have to be a little softer, in contrast to an aluminum rig. In general, I say: Go for it.
