I really like the general idea, but I'm sure that someone who decided to start production didn't use it for their rather large or - more importantly - heavy phone, with I have a Samsung Galaxy 9 Note There is also a cover that makes the whole thing relatively heavy. The design of this holder is such that most of the phone protrudes above the holder rather than "hanging" from below. The two pieces holding the phone from the bottom should be able to slide down, in which case most of the phone's shape and weight will be hanging off the mount instead of protruding over the middle. In my case, the phone falls on me when I'm accelerating hard. and down to the floor of the car. Oh I hope my explanation is clear.
