Not strong enough for photo and video accessories

I was looking for a quick way to place my phone while I was out online with others. Someone suggested I buy a selfie stick. So I went online and found this one which seemed appropriate. As soon as I started using it, I found that my phone was actually too heavy to stay in place. So I ended up letting Jerry stay. The grip that positions the phone is not strong enough to hold the phone at an angle. Bad processing. Apart from that everything is alright. But that's a problem. I have an iphone 10s max.
