Review on High-Speed SPI 3.5 Inch LCD Resistive Touchscreen for Raspberry Pi 4 - 480x320 Resolution by Freddie Newton

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Ideal for hobbyists

Pros - Cables look nice and connect securely - HDMI plug and play works well, it's nice that it has built-in downscaling for graphics cards that don't know what to do with a 480p display . - Colors are vibrant and text is easy to read - Backlight and audio jack turn on is nice, audio sounds good - Touchscreen stylus response is good Cons - No instructions in package, not enough instructions on Revain- Side - greyscale inversion is expected TFT display but wrong direction for landscape use (which all product photos are) making the viewing angle much narrower than it should be and making these images misleading - even on a Raspberry Pi where the Resolution was better and the text was legible, the image wasn't pixel perfect and I didn't have any sharp edges. Using the FBCP drivers would probably fix this, but I haven't been able to figure out how - the touchscreen's response to a finger requires reasonable pressure and sometimes jumps when dragging/scrolling.
