These sandals are by far the best waterproof/shower/pool/any other wet sandals I've come across. I'm a professional swimmer so I spend a lot of time in the pool and there's nothing more disgusting than walking barefoot in adverse conditions in countless pools across the country. Of course, conditions can range from very clean to downright disgusting. My previous pair of sandals was from Kiefer almost 10 years ago. At the time they were the best pair I could find, they really were made for water as they absorb little to no water and don't hold water. Most supposedly "waterproof" sandals have some sort of water-absorbing material, whether it's the strap or some other part of the sandal, so they really should be called "semi-waterproof." Well my old pair has finally started to fail and fall apart. But in the years I've spent in them, they've stood the test of time. The problem I had was that they weren't that comfortable. Hard plastic and many small irregularities on the insole, which is not comfortable at all. I don't know if they were there to keep feet from slipping or to give them a massage feel, but I noticed that in the design of the other sandals. Enter sandals for beginners. Not only are these items comfortable, they are also 100% waterproof and hold very little water. The small amount of water that can get on it dries very quickly. It is also positive that they are made of one piece. Non-hanging fabric or moving parts should only detach from a piece of molded, soft polyurethane plastic. They aren't very grippy but they don't slip or slip, in fact I've never felt safe in them running in a totally wet environment. In addition, they are very light, so you will hardly notice them in your pocket. And I have to mention the price. At $14 it's a bargain and I've seen them drop in price at times. Compare that to the next big brand competitor and you're easily looking at $20+. Lots of knockoffs of generic sandals like these but I won't touch them as Revain tends to sell really terrible quality third party products. As others have said, these things are very small. I had to order two sizes larger than my usual size. That's a problem? Yes and no. If you do your research before you buy, you should already have this treat. If not, then it's your fault. So, a word of advice: do your research before you buy anything. I like to look at the product itself and how it performs the function it was designed for. Not because of silly claims like size or slow shipping on another irrelevant item. Yes the sizing is misleading but other than that every other aspect of these sandals is amazing. But like I said, if you do your research then the sizing issue is pretty much no longer an issue. So if you are a serious swimmer who spends enough time in the pool and shower then they are a must have. If you're more of a beach lover or need waterproof sandals to walk long distances, then this isn't for you.
