This controller is worth the money and I highly recommend it. Let me point out some of the things I've learned from playing with the post-melee GC controller. General information about the controller • It took some time to sync, but in the end the sync may have been caused by low battery power • Power start and selection format in a different order than the Wii u Pro controller (hence it takes some getting used to) • Analog joystick It's amazing! clicking and not too loose and not too tight. Sudden and quick movements also work well. • It's lighter than the original GameCube controller, but I'm sure you'll get used to it quickly. (or tape weights on the back) • Non-analog triggers (I prefer that, easiest to get used to) • D-Pad is taller and stiffer (which means it's easier to press in the wrong direction if you ' If you're not used to it, don't press the center.) • Stick C has a rougher texture, but works and clicks the same as the original game cube. • The Start/Pause button is actually the Power button, + is Start and - is selected. • I haven't tested the battery life, but I think it's rated at 8 hours. • Normal letter buttons protrude a little more than the original, and the texture is a little rougher than the original, which is seamless, shiny and smooth. (The difference is very slight in the texture of the keys, you might not notice it) • No noticeable input lag. Things about using this controller on Smash Bros. • Turns and strokes work pretty well, you still need to get used to the joystick's hardness/relaxation depending on the controller I've been playing on a different GameCube controller • Once you get used to it, you can You play it Seriously, with this controller, this controller has no shortage of features that would prevent you from playing Smash online, aside from glitches that I haven't encountered • This two-pad issue doesn't apply to Smash, since you can only use for mocking. It can play ALL games supported by the Wii U Pro controller. That includes so many Wii U games. I highly recommend you buy this controller based on the price alone and I can guarantee it will be my go-to controller for playing my Wii U.
