it's a little long but not for nothing because people have different nose widths
I usually cut the end off for two reasons. First, the pearl ends up being quite rough when trying to insert it into a piercing hole. Second, it's a bit long, but for good reason, because people have different nose widths. For me my nose is narrower and it will press against the inside of my nostril if I don't cut it short! It's easy to trim and you can put makeup on it to make it even more invisible!
