My husband loves these pants. Bought a second pair. He usually wears 2XL but we bought 3XL. Glad we did that. Almost too small but the material is stretchy enough that they don't feel too tight. He has a fat belly. Rschunimagu. We've never bought anything like this so we're not sure how snug they should be. He can easily bend over and crouch. The belt does not hang down on the stomach. He wears them to find metals in the sand and water on the beach. They have a little padding on the knees to help him dig in the sand. He said they are warm with water temperatures around 60 degrees. This is the coldest water he's ever been in. He wore them all day on the beach in about 79 degrees and sunshine. He said he wasn't too hot. The sand comes out right after rinsing. When they're dry, he just shakes them off. My car has been in cold water and no problems so far. I don't put them in the dryer. He has worn them several times since we received them. So far, so good.
