Excellent way to add 100Mbps connectivity

We have a Cat6 ethernet trunk connecting the modem to the MDF. Our ISP offers a data transfer rate of 100 Mbps. We needed a way to add connectivity without running another Cat6 backbone to bring our HVAC systems online. I used one of these splitters at each end of the backbone, connecting port #1 to our router/modem, respectively, and connecting port #2 to the network switch and the network port on the HVAC system. The Cat6 trunk is about 300 feet away. I tested the speeds before and after connecting the splitters, there is no signal loss and no speed. Properly connected these splitters are excellent value for money.

Pros
  • . Follow the instructions in the pictures to use a pair of RJ45 splitters at the same time. The speed of each cable group (1 and 2) can only reach 100 megabytes. And the signal transmission of the two cables of the group will not interfere with each other. The RJ45-A interface connector "1" corresponds to the RJ45-B interface connector "1". The RJ45-A interface connector "2" corresponds to the RJ45-B interface connector "2". They may not be converted.
Cons
  • Slightly torn
