I bought this for my mother who had trouble hearing the TV regardless of the volume. She likes it and now she hears everything clearly. Since these are in-ear headphones, when using hearing aids, it is better to take off the hearing aids to use. It was easy to set up. Please note that if your TV has a headphone jack, it will use that and not the RCA audio jacks. I liked this device because the main unit is held by the neck so nothing heavy hangs from the ears. The volume controls are easy to learn and have relatively large buttons. There is no mute button. The on/off button is very small. To charge the headset you need a USB port on your computer as there is no wall charger. Please note that all USB charging cables supplied are USB and Micro plugs. Microplugs can be a nuisance for the elderly. Tiny tin plugs that can frustrate a tech-savvy teenager. I still recommend this product. After I showed my mom how to charge the headphones, she never called me for a second lesson.
