I bought these to replace some flimsy port truck wheels. They lacked lateral stability with straight sides. It was exactly what the doctor ordered. Great lateral strength. What didn't impress me were the softer wheels and bearing caps. Now for indoor use on smooth floors they would be perfect, but as everyone has different purposes and I am everyone (one of them to be precise) my goal was for outdoor use and uneven pavement. Soft wheels are not ideal and wear out quickly. It's not the bike's fault, which is why I'm not deducting a star. I don't like free floating bearing caps. I would prefer the ones that snap in, which gives me a bit more confidence that dirt isn't getting into the bearings and causing them to fail. I already know I'll be changing wheels and looking for new ones. I'll probably use hard rubber/plastic HF wheels with spacers. However, I stick to a rigid framework.
