🔧 Shepherd Hardware 5-Inch Elastic Capacity: Enhanced Durability and Flexibility for Smooth Functionality Review

I've bought tons of these over the last few years to use as wheels in my toolbox. I use them and the Shepherd 9260 that swivels. Aside from having to adjust to heavy loads at times, we've used them with no problems. They are contaminated with grease, hydraulic oil, etc. and have not yet had to be replaced.

We bought these for use on the front of our chicken tractor which is probably 400 pounds. We haven't had any problems with these wheels so far. They are strong and easily move such a weight on the lawn. We had to buy a larger diameter to make the tractor move a little easier in that area, but as long as they don't wear out we'll keep using them.

I bought these to replace some flimsy port truck wheels. They lacked lateral stability with straight sides. It was exactly what the doctor ordered. Great lateral strength. What didn't impress me were the softer wheels and bearing caps. Now for indoor use on smooth floors they would be perfect, but as everyone has different purposes and I am everyone (one of them to be precise) my goal was for outdoor use and uneven pavement.
