Review on 🚰 Niagara Conservation Tri-Max 3 Flow Rate Aerators - Chrome Aerator with Needle Spray (N3610CH) by Edward Gordon

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Fitted in but needed an extra part.

Like others who have purchased this water saver, I found that it would not screw into the faucet after I removed the old aerator. My faucet connector is female (15/16-27) but it is about 1/4" in a very tight 'barrel' at the end of the faucet. The outside of the body of the plastic adapter that came with the new aerator , is too large to fit into the faucet fitting to reach the threads as the barrel diameter is barely larger than the root (bottom) of the threads in it.I solved this problem by visiting my local Home Depot store and Bought a male/male aerator adapter with a 15/16-27M thread on one end and a 55/64-27M thread on the other. It is manufactured by Danco and has a part number 10517 on the box.. The This adapter's body is small enough to fit inside the faucet stem and attach to the threads there; I removed the plastic adapter from the top of the new aerator with a purpose-made plastic "wrench" and then unscrewed the d en aerator to the other end of the female adapter in the aerator. About $4 for the adapter and water saving The Ving aerator works as promised. If I didn't have to go through all this just to install a new aerator, I'd probably give it a higher rating.
