I really like this aerator. We've had it for a few years now and it's very durable. Last year we bought a second one for our kid's bathroom. We keep the aerator on the lowest setting and that's enough for 90% of our use cases. Wash hands, wash face, etc. We only turn it on when we need to fill something with water or when I shave. With this aerator you can adjust the flow in 3 modes. Routine handwashing – shaving at 0.5 gpm, razor rising, toothbrush rinse – may use the 1.5 gpm setting to increase the pressure. As other reviews have mentioned the chrome selector tends to pop right off if you're not careful. However, this is intentional (to a point) so you can remove the outer ring to tighten the element to the pipe without damaging both the chrome/plastic exterior and the fit against the inner wall. Once it's on the pipe and you know it can pop out, it's easy to adjust with no hassles. Like others who have purchased this water saver, I found that it would not screw into the faucet after I removed the old aerator. My faucet connector is female (15/16-27) but it is about 1/4" in a very tight 'barrel' at the end of the faucet.
