I bought two of these aerators to use in my basement bathroom faucet that did not have an aerator. The flow out of the faucet before using the aerator was 1 liter in 4 seconds which is pretty awful (4 gpm). I measured the flow per minute 3 times for each setting to make sure I wasn't wrong. What I actually get is: 0.5 GPM Flow Setting: 0.85 GPM. 1.0 GPM Flow Setting: 1.2 GPM 1.5 GPM Flow Setting: 1.55 GPM (close enough). I would have preferred the 0.5 GPM only option, which actually achieved…

THE BEST AERATOR FOR THE MONEY! 5 STARS!

I'm not good at that, but. Anyway, here we go!. First, the top you screw the faucet to looks just like the cheap plastic in the picture. it's super easy. looks like one of those products you just want to throw out the door. but hey, don't let this thing fool you. it's like a pair of NIKE SHOES!. feels super light. They think it doesn't look like he's doing his job. BUT HO HO HO! It's super cool! stuck and you know what? it works bloody amazing. If you look at it when installed it looks like a…

Works great after 2 years, saves a lot of water, especially in the baby bath

I really like this aerator. We've had it for a few years now and it's very durable. Last year we bought a second one for our kid's bathroom. We keep the aerator on the lowest setting and that's enough for 90% of our use cases. Wash hands, wash face, etc. We only turn it on when we need to fill something with water or when I shave. At the maximum setting, the water jets have a fairly low pressure - ideal for rinsing a razor blade. I recently changed our faucet to a different color so I went back

Saving water made easy, very useful

With this aerator you can adjust the flow in 3 modes. Routine handwashing – shaving at 0.5 gpm, razor rising, toothbrush rinse – may use the 1.5 gpm setting to increase the pressure. Seems reliable enough. I had some trouble identifying threads on my faucet as there was an internal washer in my faucet. Once I pulled it out, threading this one was a breeze. I am happy with my purchase. For more than $6, I'm now glad I don't waste as much water as a 2.2 GPM aerator. Math: The municipality charges

Works great I recommend

So it's exactly what I expected and does it well. This saves me water and it actually seems to increase the water pressure. Some things that might bother others: 1. Installation can be a bit strange due to the key they give to screw in the adapter, but I still managed to do it in less than a minute.2. Most of the construction is made of plastic. Everything seems to be good enough.3. This product sticks out a little more than my previous aerator, but there's enough room in my faucet and sink…

Just what I needed

As other reviews have mentioned the chrome selector tends to pop right off if you're not careful. However, this is intentional (to a point) so you can remove the outer ring to tighten the element to the pipe without damaging both the chrome/plastic exterior and the fit against the inner wall. Once it's on the pipe and you know it can pop out, it's easy to adjust with no hassles. I don't like the "needle" spray pattern, but it's currently the only pattern available for a 0.5 GPM aerator (too…

Easy install and great functionality

I have replaced three of my most used faucets with these aerators: one for the kitchen sink and one for two bathrooms. Whether bathrooms need a 3 position switch is a very debatable question, but I like the extra option just in case I ever need a little extra push. Overall they were pretty easy to install if your faucets have standard threads. I ran into a problem in a bathroom because this aerator would not fit the male thread of my faucet due to the way the chrome part was placed. It was very

Fitted in but needed an extra part.

Like others who have purchased this water saver, I found that it would not screw into the faucet after I removed the old aerator. My faucet connector is female (15/16-27) but it is about 1/4" in a very tight 'barrel' at the end of the faucet. The outside of the body of the plastic adapter that came with the new aerator , is too large to fit into the faucet fitting to reach the threads as the barrel diameter is barely larger than the root (bottom) of the threads in it.I solved this problem by…
