Ideal for persistent post-mastectomy lymphedema

I bought this cuff for my grandmother and this is a small review she wrote about it: Eight years ago, after medical treatment, I was informed that the insurance company (the previously paid 100% for my compression sleeves after a mastectomy which left me with permanent lymphedema) is not paying for my sleeves. Medicare has become the main payer and will not cover the sleeves, so the insurance company that previously covered the sleeves has stopped providing further coverage as it will not pay anything that Medicare does not cover. I was offered $120 for a sleeve that I wore almost all the time. I couldn't justify paying that amount of fixed income money and the sleeves I had before were worn out. I wasn't aware of how much this had affected my hand, which has now grown very large. The hand is very sensitive to the sun and I had several infections that needed to be treated with antibiotics. My granddaughter who is in the Physician Assistant Program in Washington visited me a few weeks ago, saw this, measured me and ordered a sleeve. from this company. She placed the order and the case arrived within 48 hours. It fit right away and I wore it all day. I will order another one. The best thing about this case seems to be the fabric that allows airflow. The previous sleeves felt like ovens from the minute I put them on to the moment I had to take them off because I couldn't take the heat. I live in the desert and where we live the temp ranges from 100 to 108. Thank you Cathy. Apple Valley, California.
