It's partly my fault for thinking this would actually work, but I was desperate! My neighborhood dogs were driving me crazy so I decided to give it a try. The instruction was vague and poorly written. When I put the battery in there was nothing to hold it, it just dangled there. I had to carefully place and move it to its final location without losing contact between the battery and the receptors. The light worked for several days, which allegedly indicated that he was responding to a dog's bark. But then the battery will not stay in place. Even though the test slot was well designed, I'm sure this product will not work. It probably doesn't emit anything at all. Please don't waste your money! Just go and talk to the neighbors.
