Review on Optimized Graco Pressure ๐Ÿ–Œ๏ธ Roller Kit | Model 244512 by Jeffrey Johnston

Tedious to clean and a bit heavy but still a must for a good paint finish

I have used an electric paint roller for decades and bought it along with a Graco sprayer to improve it. others I have used in the past. Still undecided on the spray gun as this is my first time using the Graco to paint with a roller nozzle. It's a little tricky to set up and I'm missing the screen on one side of the reel. For blankets, very quickly lift the roller assembly over the tires. I had to play around with the pressure a bit, but I eventually adjusted it so that I could pull the trigger for a second or two and have enough paint to keep going uninterrupted. (It was just a hair outside of the "roll" setting on the push button.) Once you develop the rhythm, the rolling is fast. I still hate cleaning paint rollers, but at least with the Graco sprayer, I've found that it only takes me a minute or two to remove all paint and flush with clean water, including the pump, hose, and the roller die, compared to half an hour or more with old rollers I've used. One helpful tip I can give is that if you're working in tight spaces you don't need to use an extension - just remove it and attach the reel directly to the trigger handle. Everything seems to be solidly built so should give it a good, long life. It's a bit expensive, almost $90? Of course. But for me, the time savings and superior paint quality have always made the Power Roller worth the money. Without this roller I could never have applied three coats of paint so effectively.
