This one is stronger than my old one. I mainly use it for digging trenches and plate leaks. Do not use a new round shovel for digging. It was bad design. Costs money. I lost my last one in the fires or he'd still be an ass kicker. I drilled many 4" holes in the sidewalk for a new drain. You need a car to drive to make this much easier. This is the best Bosch tool. I'm not a fan of their cordless tools (too weak). Milwaukee is better
