So far I've been happy with this lens when using it on a Canon 30D body. Decent quality glass with no noticeable vignetting. It's not particularly wide-angle, thanks in part to the 1.3 zoom factor at 30D. So it's not good for looking at an entire room at a party, for example, but it's good for landscapes and the like. The only thing I complain about is the focus noise. , which is important and can be distracting if you're shooting a wedding or conference where noise is an issue.
