TOP device, especially for the price!

I love this baby! This is my second flash drive with an SD card. The latter was cheaper but also looked the part. This one, on the other hand, looks professional, durable and lightweight. It's small enough not to get in the way, but big enough to look good when in use. I don't use SD or MicroSD cards like I did in college, but when my girlfriend's Android went berserk and ruined her entire microSD card (I think she did it), I told her to lend it to me. With this card reader, I was able to insert her micro SD card into my computer and, while the card was still in the card reader, run a data recovery program that recovered all of her undamaged photos. The reader was warmed by the process (recovering files takes a few hours and puts a strain on the hard drive where the data resides), but this little man behaved like a pro. My friend ended up not losing a single file. Like I said, I don't use card readers very often anymore, but I think it's one of those things everyone should have in an emergency, like uploading a photo after losing a computer cable from a digital camera, or when you need to retrieve files from Android received. It costs less than $10 and is worth having when you need it. I have also had good experiences with the brand (Anker) in the past. They have very small, minimalist packaging, but don't appear too "factual" as a company either. At my old job, we used to buy several "aluminum 4-port USB 3.0 hubs," one for each web designer and web developer, since we had to plug and unplug hard drives and flash drives many times a day. I don't remember ever having problems with either of them. Anyway I'll check out their other products haha. I hope my review helped!

Pros
  • Read and write to two cards simultaneously so you don't waste time disconnecting and reconnecting.
Cons
  • You could choose a newer model
