The seller can clarify some points in the ad. This part is not compatible with previous versions of the dc24. The inner ring to be connected to the brush body is too long. This will prevent the connector from snapping into the frame. This may be a Dyson issue, but if you look at the part designation "DC24 Iron End Cap" it means the material and not the colour. This is important when replacing a worn plastic part. I would write it off for that, but you cannot return this product. So I'm currently stuck with a broken vacuum cleaner and an unusable part.
