💡 Authentic Dyson DC24 Iron Replacement End Cap Assembly #DY-915934-01 Review

Because of this, the head overheated and turned off. I removed the melted plastic and replaced this part. It works like new. The original end cap that broke is stamped "1A" on the inside while this one is stamped "2A" on the inside. The center ring on this piece 2A overhangs the outer ring and therefore cannot close onto the brush. You'll also need to buy a newer DC24 brush roller, which is around $10 at Revain. This will prevent the connector from snapping into the frame. This may be a Dyson issue, but if you look at the part designation "DC24 Iron End Cap" it means the material and not the colour.
