This is a high quality, accurate and easy to use kit.

Very nice impressive kit with quality components, lots of useful accessories and very nice pressure gauges with front control valves. A small, simple adjustment that is a must-do or the gauges won't work is to adjust the small brass tab on the ends of the hoses that connect to the Schrader valve fittings. These small protrusions are initially screwed too deep into the hoses to activate the low-side Schrader valves or fill port. However, the kit does come with a small tool specifically for adjusting the small brass knob on the ends of the hoses. This is identical to adjusting the air valve in a car tire or a basketball. Simple and easy, but it has to be done. For example, a blue hose for a pressure gauge. When I connected the pressure gauge for the first time, it showed zero. No matter what I do, it doesn't show anything. But when I used the included tool and lengthened the little threaded brass tab a turn or two, it changed the world. After pulling this tab out a turn or two, I reattached the female end of the blue hose that went to the pressure gauge. About halfway through, he began to push on the Schrader valve, which is easy to see by the refrigerant leaking out. Ideal! Read 80psi. Connect the refrigerant hose to the low pressure port in the same way, but allow the refrigerant to drain from the R134a tank for 1-2 seconds to push all the air out of the charge hose, and begin to slowly drain the refrigerant by They pulse one second at a time until the sensor reads 117psi, which is reportedly good for a Fujitsu mini-split. This is a quality kit and well worth the investment, but remember to extend the small brass tabs on the hoses that connect to the internal Schrader valves with the tool provided and everything will work perfectly. In the attached photos you can see the blue gauge reading 117psi and in the other photo there is a small brass tab that needs to be extended with the included Schrader valve adjustment tool to ensure everything works as intended. Do this and you will have no problems. Highly recommended.
