Review on 📀 Panasonic RV30 DVD Player by Cyrus Wright

I finally decided to buy a DVD player a few days before Christmas after buying my parents a Sony DAV-S300 DVD home theater system (great for people who only have a TV and a portable radio). I wish I had made my decision by December 19th and Revain would pay for my shipping too. I shopped 2 days in a row, checked prices and read tons of reviews. In many places this player was not available. RV30 is a great deal. I wanted my first DVD player in a few years to be contemporary and also have features that fit my needs. I believe I have what I need and more. Connect quickly and easily. Just remember that you must switch your TV to AUX/VCR after selecting INPUT in the TV menu, not channel 3 or 4 like a VCR, otherwise you will only get sound and no picture. Forget whining about the backlit remote control, this remote control is easy to use and only requires a few movies to get used to. Even if you have to sit in total darkness to watch all your movies, the light from the TV should still be enough to see the remote control. CINEMA MODE worked well with The Bone Collector as there were many dark scenes. Virtual Surround Sound and Dialogue Enhancer also worked well with my two stereo speakers and 100 watt amplifier. The menus are easily accessible/selectable and the player is quiet. I only use the cables that came with the player. My video recorder is now only used for TV recordings, you don't even come close to the picture/sound of a DVD. Also, the ADDITIONAL features you get with the DVD version over the VHS tape are amazing. It's like watching 2 movies for the price/rent of 1. For the first time a DVDer with a 100 watt stereo with woofers and a 32 inch TV, I no longer feel the need to go to the cinema. . Now movies come to me and my DVD player when I want them and how I want to watch/hear them.
