Still looking for the perfect sketchbook but this is enough for now

My ideal sketchbook is wire bound with a hard board spine, 68-gauge paper, and perforated edges. This album is closer than many others, but it's not 100% spot on. The front and back are flexible cardboard which keeps the pages secure while this album sits on my desk, but I'm not sure if it's strong enough for a backpack. Abuse. On the plus side, there's an extra thick cardstock page on the back, providing enough structure to sketch on your lap. Mine arrived slightly damaged. The pages are thicker than printer paper and have a light texture. It won't stand up to wet application but will work with pencil and ink. Pages are NOT perforated to prevent tearing. The single perforation is for wire binding. Overall this sketchbook is worth the money - it has enough pages to last me a long time - but some improvements could still be made.
